It has 3 filter cartridges to remove hundreds of contaminants from your drinking water.

Water flows through a sediment cartridge a solid carbon block cartridge and a 6 stage cartridge that has KDF 55 and KDF 85, coconut shell carbon, ion exchange resin media and 2 one micron filter pads.

The Crystal Quest 8 Stage Under Sink water Filter comes with all necessary hardware to install it and also comes with its own faucet.

You can purchase it to filter 10,000 gal, 20,000 gal or 30,000 gallons of water depending on how bad your water is you can choose filtering capacity above. Flow rate is .75 to 1 gallon per minute, dimensions is 15" by 14".

The 1st stage water flows through a sediment filter cartridge to remove sediment, silt, sand, dirt and also extends the life of your countertop water filters.

The 2nd and 7th stage water flows through pre and post one micron filter pads, that removes suspended particles like sand, silt, sediment, rust, dirt and any other un-dissolved particles in your water.

Stage 3 and 4 water flows through a KDF 55 and KDF 85 media to remove or reduce chlorine and heavy metals like lead, mercury, copper, nickel, chromium, aluminum, and more. Also iron and hydrogen sulfide is oxidized into insoluble matter and attached to the surface of the media. Read more about KDF

In stage 6 water flows through a coconut shell granulated carbon that is widely used to absorb a wide variety of organic contaminants like chlorine and other contaminants linked to cancer to name a few (THM’s, benzene), pesticides, insecticides, (VOC’s) PCB’s, MTBE’s and hundreds of other contaminants that may be in your water.
