The Crystal Quest 7 Stage Countertop Water Filter is very easy to hook up and maintain. it hooks up to your existing faucet and has its own faucet on the side of the system. There is a diverter valve so you can switch from filtered water to un-filtered water.

It has two cartridges that water flows through there is a coconut shell solid carbon block cartridge and a 6 stage cartridge for a total of 7 stages of filtration. The cartridges are easy to change when it is time, you will know when it is time as the water flow will slow down or completely stop. The flow rate is .075 to 1 gallon per minute.

The Crystal Quest 7 Stage Countertop Water Filter comes in white or stainless steel, it also come with a filtering capacity of 10,000 gal, 20,000 gal or 30,000 gallons of pure, great tasing contaminant free water. You can choose color and capacity above under filtering capacity and color.

Water flows through 7 stages of filtration:

 

The 1st stage water flows through a solid carbon cartridge to remove volatile carbon compounds like (VOC’s, insecticides, pesticides, and industrial solvents).

The 2nd and 7th stage water flows through pre and post one micron filter pads, that removes suspended particles like sand, silt, sediment, rust, dirt and any other un-dissolved particles in your water.

Stage 3 and 4 water flows through a eagle redox 6500 & 9500 media to remove or reduce chlorine and heavy metals like lead, mercury, copper, nickel, chromium, aluminum, and more. In stage 5 water flows through an ion exchange resin to reduce heavy metals like lead, copper, aluminum, and water hardness. Read more about ion resin

In stage 6 water flows through a coconut shell granulated carbon that is widely used to absorb a wide variety of organic contaminants like chlorine and other contaminants linked to cancer to name a few (THM’s, benzene), pesticides, insecticides, (VOC’s) PCB’s, MTBE’s and hundreds of other contaminants that may be in your water.
