Water flows through 2 1 micron filter pads, a sediment cartridge, coconut shell carbon, eagle redox 6500 & 9500 and through ceramic balls to remove bacteria.

It provides 160,000 gallons of great tasting contaminant free water, replacement cartridges are very easy to replace you just unscrew the canister take the old cartridge out and put the new one in. And the Crystal Quest Whole house water filter is made in the USA

We can also put a fluoride cartridge in it if you would like to reduce fluoride we would just take the sediment filter out and put the fluoride filter in its place. The fluoride filter will filter for 18 to 24 months. Just choose fluoride whole house under options above it is $723.45. So it will be set up with the carbon block in the first stage then the fluoride filter in the second place then the third will be the mulit-stage filter.


The first stage water flows through 20" sediment cartridge to remove sediment like sand, dirt, silt it also extends the life of your water filters

Stages 2 and 7 water flows through a one micron filter pad to filter out suspended particles. Like silt, sediment, sand, dirt, and other un-dissolved matter.

In stage 3 water flows through coconut shell carbon to remove organic contaminants like chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, (VOC's,) PCB's, MTBE's, insecticides and hundreds more of chemical contaminants from your water. Read more on coconut shell carbon

Then stage 4 water flows through ceramic ball to remove harmful bacteria such as E. coli, fecal coli form, Salmonella, Streptococcus, and cysts (Cryptosporidium, Giardia) and sediment.

Then in stages 5 and 6, water flows through a eagle redox 6500 & 9500 media to oxidize iron and hydrogen sulfide into an insoluble matter, result is it then attaches to the media. eagle redox 6500 & 9500 also removes heavy metals like mercury, nickel, chromium, cadmium, lead, copper, and other dissolved heavy metals.
