Reverse Osmosis Systems

CRYSTAL QUEST® Reverse Osmosis/Ultrafiltration systems are revolutionary breakthrough in the reverse osmosis and Ultrafiltration industry. Through years of experience, research has produced totally new most effective, healthiest Reverse Osmosis/Ultrafiltration systems in today’s market. CRYSTAL QUEST® Reverse Osmosis systems are available at 10 to 17 stages - the number varying with model of Reverse Osmosis system that you purchase.

CRYSTAL QUEST® Reverse Osmosis/Ultrafiltration systems produce 50 to 100  gallons of top quality water per day and remove up to 99.9% of undesirable contaminants and filter particles as small as 1/1000 of a micron by forcing untreated water through a semi-permeable membrane. Pressure forces the water to flow in the reverse direction to the direction of flow in natural osmosis.

CRYSTAL QUEST® Reverse Osmosis systems have compact designs that can easily fit beneath the kitchen sink. Supplied with a complete installation kit that includes a European lead-free long-reach designer faucet, CRYSTAL QUEST® 4 gallon steel pressurized holding tank, all interconnecting color-coded tubing, filter cartridges, Ultrafiltration membrane, RO membrane, and installation hardware for easy homeowner installation.

Or maybe you are looking for a Portable Reverse Osmosis System they are an excellent choice if you don’t want to plumb a larger undersink reverse osmosis under your sink or if you live in an apartment were you can’t put a permanent one in or if you travel a lot.

With a portable reverse osmosis you can take it were ever you go and have contaminant free water at your finger tips.

They are very easy to hook up you would just take your existing aerator off your sink and put the diverter valve in place of it, then you can switch from filtered water to un-filtered water.

The down side to reverse osmosis is that it takes every thing out of your water including the good minerals that your body needs like ionized calcium, magnesium, sodium and potassium ion. CRYSTAL QUEST RO ADD ON CARTRIDGE

But with the Crystal Quest Reverse Osmosis systems, we have an
optional natural (Alkalinize) ionizer, mineralizer and oxidation cartridge that goes in as the last stage to put all those minerals back into the water.

If you are researching water filtration methods for your home, you probably have many questions about the filters themselves. There are many different types of water filters, each differing in how they work and which water contaminants are removed. For your drinking water, you’ll want the most effective system you can find; reverse osmosis is one of the most thorough water filtration systems available. Among many peoples’ first questions is "What is Reverse Osmosis?"

Reverse osmosis is a water filtration process that forces water through a semi-permeable membrane. Pressure is applied to the untreated water, forcing it through a membrane with very tiny holes. The pure water is able to pass to the other side, but the water contaminants are trapped by the membrane.

Reverse osmosis filters are usually used to trap salts. In fact, they were first designed to treat sea water, turning it into safe drinking water. However, they also trap many other contaminants that are too large to pass through the semi-permeable membrane. Since the early 1970’s, reverse osmosis has emerged as one of the leading technologies of water filtration.

Reverse osmosis is used in homes, offices, and other buildings. Reverse osmosis systems are also used in developing countries with very poor water quality, or by vacationers in wilderness areas. One of the advantages of a reverse osmosis is that it can be used not only with typical tap water, like most water filtration systems, but also with poor quality sources of water, ranging from polluted water to rainwater to untreated water in developing countries. Even in areas with access to relatively good tap water, reverse osmosis can dramatically improve the purity of the water. Although they do produce more waste water than other water filtration systems, reverse osmosis is one of the most effective ways to filter water.

A Crystal Quest reverse osmosis system's actually uses several steps besides the actual reverse osmosis process. First, a series of filters catches larger particles, including rust, sediment, and calcium carbonate. Then a carbon filter tracks organic matter and chlorine. This filter is necessary because the chlorine present in most tap water can damage the membrane. Finally, a portable reverse osmosis filter thoroughly filters any remaining contaminants from the water. Some reverse osmosis filters include a UV lamp to kill any bacteria that makes it through the reverse osmosis membrane. Multiple stage filters are even more effective than reverse osmosis filtration alone.
